ARC is founded by Søren E. Pedersen, combining horticulture, agricultural technology and entrepreneurship with hands-on electronics and embedded software development.

The idea is simple: sensing and control should make climate, light and growing conditions easier to understand—and give people practical ways to care for them. ARC connects physical products, modular hardware and cloud software in one platform for homes, classrooms and growing spaces.

In our field, AI is a true game changer. It makes embedded systems and hardware development accessible at a professional level, while accelerating the path from idea to working prototype. Our multiple proofs of concept show what that makes possible. AI matured significantly throughout 2025 and has now reached a level where we can confidently rely on it to accelerate development—guided by practical experience, testing and engineering judgement.
